A grave opens on the target the ground works out: enough to put the curve back on 0.05 ETH. Everyone who puts ETH in buys at the price the coin died at; when the target is reached the whole pot goes through the curve in one transaction and the coin trades again. Afterwards each digger claims their share of what the pot bought.

If the target is not reached in seven days every contribution comes back. Nothing is held, nothing is locked, and a failed dig pays nobody a fee.

When a coin is called dead

  1. 01Its curve has had no trade for seven days.
  2. 02Less than 0.02 ETH is left inside it.
  3. 03It never graduated, so the curve can still be traded against.
  4. 04Nothing is listed by hand, and nothing can be paid to be delisted.
  5. 05A grave can be dug once. After that it is a living coin and this is no longer its address.
